This is the Weathering Gallery, which shows some of my work on stock items, such as wagons and coaches.
Weathering is a very subjective subject and I'll try and give some information on what has been used on each model, such as transfers, nameplates, etc.
2 x Accurascale Hoppers. These are two Accurascale Hoppers in BR Grey livery and weathered as only reasonably dirty with some crusting here and there. The Accurascale Hoppers are an excellent model and hopefully Accurascale will do something else in 7mm.
Dapol 20t 'CAR' BR Brakevan in 'Air Braked' Bauxite & Yellow livery. This Dapol Brakevan has been broken down, repainted and finished as an 'Air Braked' example with the Yellow panels added. I have fitted sprung Oleo buffers, Air Control piping on one side of the van and the extra air pipes at each end. The transfers used were the excellent Railtec transfers where a specific set has been produced for these wagons. I've then weathered the brakevan as a 'working' example.
JLTRT TTA Tank Wagons. These two Just Like the Real Thing TTA tank wagons were finished in a plain grey livery with sub sector markings on them. Nice kits to go together and transfers were a mix of Fox and Railtec. These again have been weathered as in 'Working' condition.
